Meet the changemakers and champions
Well it's not exactly a 'Revolution' without an army behind it is it?! Period shame, period pain, period education and menstrual literacy is a global subject and will take a whole collective bunch of amazing people and organisations working together to really make a difference and impact change. Here are just a few of the phenomenal humans we are proud to have as part of the Period Talk Revolution.
Mon the Magnificent Murphy!
Monique Murphy is proof that dreams do come true. Her life long dream was to swim for Australia. As a result, Monique did just that. She represented Australia at the 2015 Glasgow IPC World Championships and at the 2016 Rio Paralympics. She competed in four events in Rio. Monique won Silver in the 400m Freestyle. Consequently, Monique’s famous for doing herself and Australia proud!
Monique believes most of all, that the sporting world teaches children skills they can apply to any life endeavour and is passionate about educating and normalising the conversation around periods amongst the youth.
What are you waiting for?!
Mums and Dads, be the change, make a real difference in your kids' lives, empower them and join the 'Period Talk' revolution!
